How We Support Team Members at Brio Living Services
Our team members support our mission each day … and we give back to them.
Join us in supporting our Team Members! The UMRC-Porter Hills Foundation knows it takes excellent, dedicated, well-trained team members to provide outstanding care for the older adults we serve at Brio Living Services. To support and elevate our team members, particularly those who provide direct care and services, we have established the Team Member Support Services Fund, including:
Scholarships – Competitive scholarships are offered to help Brio Living Services team members realize their educational and career goals. Priority is given to direct care team members as well as those with financial need. In 2014, the UMRC Foundation launched its robust Team Member Scholarship program and implemented this for Porter Hills team members as well in 2019. To date, over $469,000 in scholarships have been awarded to Brio Living Services team members, and the majority of scholarship recipients remain successfully employed with Brio Living Services.
Emergency Aid – The Emergency Aid program was designed to provide eligible Brio Living Services team members with limited assistance in times of emergency causing temporary, unplanned financial hardship. Since the program began in 2014 at UMRC, over $100,000 in Emergency Aid has been allocated to ease a financial burden for our team members.
